Made on my potter’s wheel in my studio, it’s designed to hold a single standard dinner candle (taper) to create a soft, cosy light on your mantlepiece or dining table. Subtle variations in glaze and form make each piece completely unique.

Candles not included
Use:
For standard dinner candles/tapers only. Do not use tealights, votives, pillar candles, oversized candles or wax melts.
If your candle feels slightly loose, you can secure it by placing a tiny drip of wax into the socket, press the candle in straight, then allow the wax to set before lighting.
Indoor use only, place the holder on a stable, level, heat-resistant surface, away from edges.
Decorative use only.
Safety:
Never leave a burning candle unattended. Always extinguish before leaving the room or going to sleep.
Keep away from draughts and from anything that can catch fire, such as curtains, paper or fabric.
Keep candles and holders out of reach of children and pets.
Place the holder on a stable, level, heat-resistant surface, away from edges.
Leave at least 10 cm between burning candles.
Use one candle per holder at a time. Do not stack holders or enclose them inside other containers.
Ensure the candle is seated securely and upright in the holder before lighting. Do not force an oversized candle into the socket.
Allow plenty of space above the flame - do not place under shelves, cabinets or low overhangs.
The ceramic will become hot in use: do not move while lit or while the wax is liquid.
Extinguish the candle before it burns down to the base. Do not allow the flame to contact the ceramic.
Allow the holder to cool completely before handling, cleaning or moving.
Do not use if cracked, chipped or otherwise damaged, as this may create safety hazards.
Trim candle wicks to about 5 mm (1/4 inch) before each use to keep the flame at a safe height and reduce soot.
Make sure the candle is seated securely and upright before lighting.
Care:
Wipe with a soft, damp cloth once cool. Do not immerse a very hot holder in water.
Avoid abrasive cleaners on the glazed surface.
