Contract Formation

When you place an order on our website, you are making an offer to buy the item(s). We will send you an order confirmation email. A contract is formed when we email you to confirm acceptance of your order (usually by confirming dispatch). If we cannot accept your order (for example, because an item is no longer available), we will let you know and refund any payment taken.

Product Information

Key characteristics of each item are shown in the product description and photographs on this website. We do our best to show colours accurately, but colours may vary slightly depending on your screen or device. As our items are handmade, small variations in glaze, finish and dimensions are normal.

Prices

Prices are shown in GBP and are the total price payable for the item. Delivery charges are shown at checkout (or on our Delivery page) before you place your order. We are not VAT registered, so VAT is not charged.

Ordering and Payment

To place an order, add items to your basket and proceed to checkout. You will be asked to provide your contact details, delivery address and payment details.

Before completing your purchase, you will have the chance to check and correct your order.

When you click “Place order” at checkout, you are placing an order with an obligation to pay the total shown, including any delivery charges.

Payment

We accept card payments processed securely by Stripe. Payment is taken at the time you place your order. We do not store your full card details.

Delivery and Shipping

Delivery areas, dispatch times, delivery method, delivery charges, and what to do if a delivery is delayed, lost or arrives damaged are set out in our Delivery and Shipping Policy. That policy forms part of these terms.

Returns, Refunds and Cancellations

How to cancel an order, return goods, and receive a refund (including the model cancellation form and our after-sales support) are set out in our Returns, Refunds and Cancellations Policy. That policy forms part of these terms.

Consumer Rights

If you buy goods from us, we have a legal obligation to supply goods that are in conformity with the contract.

Faulty goods

Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights. If your item is faulty or not as described, you may have the right to a refund, repair or replacement. In many cases you have a short-term right to reject within 30 days of delivery.

If you think there is a problem with goods purchased from us, please contact us at hello@annagossceramics.co.uk (or via our website contact form) with your order number, a description of the issue, and photos where relevant.

Risk and ownerships

Risk in the goods passes to you when they are delivered to the address you provided. Ownership passes to you once we have received payment in full.

Pricing errors

While we try to ensure all prices are correct, errors may occur. If we discover an obvious pricing error, we will contact you and you may choose to continue at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.

Complaints and ADR

If you have a complaint, please contact us and we will try to resolve it. If we cannot resolve your complaint, we will provide details of an approved ADR provider and tell you whether we agree to use ADR.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.

Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be limited by law. If we breach these terms, we are responsible for losses that are a foreseeable result of that breach. We are not responsible for losses that are not foreseeable.
